Sealand brings together a unique blend of sustainable design and local craftsmanship. Renowned for its commitment to functional, upcycled apparel, Sealand collaborated with TDC&Co to bring this eco-conscious vision to life in an inspiring new space.
The store also features limestone-based vinyl flooring, produced with epoxidized sunflower oil and free of heavy metals, as well as Reach-compliant plinths. Adding further distinctive touches, the design incorporates repurposed yacht sails for curtains and backdrops and uses shelving constructed from recycled plastic bottles and other reclaimed materials.
The store’s success is the result of a seamless collaboration with our trusted suppliers and contractors. This new store proudly embodies the brand’s mission of fostering positive environmental impact while celebrating local artistry. We thoughtfully integrated innovative sustainable materials throughout the store, including paints and sealants crafted from natural products—a pioneering approach for the South African market.
