The Aqua Centre is the beating heart of Tzaneen, showcasing the best of the area and connecting people as a new kind of town square. A home-grown character, always ready to say ‘hi’ with a smile. Together with our visionary client, we workshopped and created the brand strategy from where Aqua Centre was born with its purpose being ‘The Heart of Tzaneen’ where people from all walks of life are welcome to shop, ‘kuier’ and connect.

We worked from this strategy to further develop the Aqua Centre brand and the design of all public spaces, providing design direction on the centre’s façade and exterior spaces in collaboration with the project architect and landscaper.

We celebrated the beautiful Tzaneen landscape and created storytelling moments by creating a space that is filled with varying experiences full of character. Interwoven brick towers, natural materials, lush greenery and a touch of indulgence with flowing water fountains bring this space to life.
